A Little History...
Doug Dorey, Elizabeth Sherman and David Flores had each spent the
better part of their young adult lives mastering the "art of travel"
when some twist of fate ultimately made their paths cross in the
late 1980's. All ending up working for the same company, they eventually
decided the time was right to join forces to forge out on their
own and do it "their way".
Ultima Travel originally began as an agreement scribbled
on a restaurant napkin in the summer of 1991 (yes, we still have
it). Less than a year later, we were open for business. With our
entrepreneurial business sense, lively spirit and dedication, we
have survived the recent blows of our industry and built a solid
business with a loyal following of corporate and leisure customers.
We continue to grow by anticipating and servicing the needs of our
valued clients.
and today...
We learned several years ago that it wasn't as important to become the biggest
agency in town as it was to become the best at what we do and have
a good time doing it. A few staff changes and additions here and
there and we've created a pretty darn good working environment.
We have built our client base over the years with business travelers
who enjoy the personal relationships we offer and independent travelers
of all backgrounds.
We have been known to handle everything from bus tours to luxury
around-the-world vacations.
